Reed Machinery Ltd are pleased to announce that we have secured an order for new handling equipment to be used on a 2000UST Aluminium Extrusion press to be installed in Mexico in mid 2006. The complete handling system will be custom designed to meet the production requirements and will be designed and built primarily in Taiwan .

The system is based around a water quench unit, single puller, belt type carry over tables and cooling bed. The stretcher will be one man operated.The whole system will be integrated with the existing press PLC and will have full automatic cycle facilities.

The equipment is being supplied on a short delivery time in order to allow the complete extrusion line to in operation by autumn 2006. The buyers are expanding their production capability with the acquisition of the press to augment their existing 1000T press line.

Previously we have supplied a 500 MT indirect Aluminium Extrusion Press to an Albanian company previously acting as importers of product for fabrication into doors, windows etc. This is the newest press to be installed in Albania for many years and is a direct result of the increasingly rapid expansion of Albanian industry following many years of isolation from the rest of the world.

The press will supply product for window and doors systems and for small specialist mini sections and profiles for various uses. The press was installed under the supervision of Extrusion Press Services (UK) Ltd
