Reed Machinery Ltd is pleased to announce that dismantling is now finished and that 2 extrusion press lines, 1 x 6”, 1320MT and 1 x 8”, 2200MT, both by Beda Danielli, are now in Turkey, having been purchased by Asas Aluminyum Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.
These lines will augment the presently installed 5 lines ranging from 1250MT to 5500MT with billet sizes 6” up to 14”
The lines were previously installed at the Amman factory of MODAL, it had ceased production and closed down in November 2010
The sale was a joint collaboration between, Alteco (Austria), Reed Machinery Ltd and Qualiteam International ( The Netherlands), ARQ
The ARQ collaboration has also sold to India ( Hindalco) a 5000MT press line from ETEM in Athens. Dismantling will commence shortly and the line will be installed at either Hindalco’s Kerala or Renukoot plant.
The line is specially suited to the extrusion of hard alloys and is capable of handling billets up to 16” diameter.
Reed Machinery Ltd is pleased to announce that dismantling is now finished and that a 3150MT 10” extrusion press line is on its way to its new home in Mexico.
Due to tight time constraints, the press had to be removed from its previous location at the factory of Hermann Gutmann in Weissenburg, Germany in 10 days to make space for the installation of a new press.
The new owners in Mexico are adding this capacity to their existing installation of 6” and 8” press lines with a view to expanding their product range for export.
ARQ, a joint interest co-operation between Reed Machinery Ltd, UK, Alteco, Austria and Qualiteam International, The Netherlands are able to offer used equipment from world wide sources to meet most needs for aluminium production equipment.
